• Freight Security Requirements
The Freight Security Requirements (FSR) have been established by security professionals working for high-technology companies. Why? - To demonstrate how high-technology components and products should be handled, stored and transported when they are being shipped throughout the World. FSR specify the minimum acceptable standards to protect assets being moved in the supply chain and the methods that should be used to ensure these standards are met and kept.
Additionally, the FSR provides for process specifications to instruct and guide suppliers who want to get a TAPA certification regarding security conditions in their facilities and transit operations. The success to implement an FSR depends on the understanding and partnership work developed by suppliers, auditors certified by TAPA and freight forwarders to accurately interpret, implement and audit of such requirements.
