Guidelines related to Auditors qualification and training

 

Training guide to those who want to become TAPA Brazil auditor, Freight Security Requirements Auditor and Credits in the Auditors Training Course.

A) TAPA Brazil – Internal Auditors Criteria:

In order to be accepted as TAPA Brazil Internal Auditor, the applicant needs:

• To be an effective salary employee in a TAPA Brazil member company with all monthly fees duly paid.

• To have completed and been approved in TAPA Brazil 2-day training course as Freight Security Requirements Auditor in the course provided by an Instructor Auditor Certified by TAPA WW.

• To have completed at least 2 coached audits whose results have been accepted by TAPA Brazil committee.

• Have at least 5 years of experience in Corporate Security.

B) TAPA Brazil – External Auditors Criteria:

In order to be accepted as TAPA Brazil External Auditor, the applicant needs:

• To have completed and have been approved in TAPA Brazil 2-day training course as Freight Security Requirements Auditor provided by an Instructor Auditor Certified by TAPA.

• To be an effective salary employee in a recognized company hired by TAPA Brazil, such as an external auditing company, such as BVQI, SGS & QMI, having signed the Mutual Agreement Memorandum (Memo of Understanding, or M.O.U) at a general or global level.

• To have completed at least 2 coached audits whose results have been accepted by TAPA Brazil committee.

• To have the required experience as an auditor.

C) Qualification Certificate to be a TAPA Brazil Auditor.

To receive this certificate, the applicant needs:

• To be a contributing member of TAPA Brazil.

• To have completed and been approved in TAPA Brazil 2-day training course provided by a TAPA Brazil qualified Instructor.

D) Qualification needed to be a Qualified Auditor Instructor for TAPA Brazil.

To be recognized as an Instructor to qualify TAPA Brazil Auditors (including knowledge training) the applicant needs:

• To be a contributing member of TAPA Brazil.

• To have been approved in the 2-day Training Course provided to TAPA Brazil auditors.

• To have the appropriate security skills and experience.

• To have evidenced experience, aligned with TAPA Freight Security Requirements in at least 2 storage facilities.

• To have completed at least 3 TAPA audits.

• To have assisted a Qualified TAPA Brazil Auditor in the development of at least one 2-day training course for auditors, having left the instructor pleased with his/her knowledge and ability on Freight Security Requirements.

E) Requirements to be responsible for performing a Biyearly Self-Audit.

To be qualified to perform a TAPA Brazil Biyearly Self-Audit, the applicant needs:

• To be a contributing member of TAPA Brazil.

• To have completed a TAPA Brazil auditor training course or a TAPA Brazil internal training course provided by an instructor qualified by TAPA Brazil.

F) Acknowledgement from TAPA USA, TAPA EMEA, TAPA AP by TAPA Brazil.

• TAPA Brazil acknowledges all those who have a TAPA Auditor certificate provided by TAPA USA, TAPA EMEA or TAPA AP.

• TAPA Brazil acknowledges and accepts all Auditor Instructors from TAPA USA, TAPA EMEA and TAPA AP.
